Dr. Song dedicated to develop new sustainable and green polymeric materials from biomacromolecules and biomass resources. He has authored and co-authored over 70 peer reviewed journal publications published in Advanced Functional Materials, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, ACS Sustainable Chemistry & Engineering, Biomacromolecules, Chemical Engineering Journal, Carbohydrate Polymers, etc., 1 invited book, 1 invited book chapter, and 4 issued and 2 pending patents. His research has been highlighted by ACS News Service Weekly PressPac, AAAS EurekAlert, IOM3, Phys. Org., IOP Nanotechweb and so on. He has presented over 20 invited/oral talks at international conferences including World Polymer Congress, International Conference on Bio-based and Biodegradable Polymers, International Chemistry Conference, etc. He has been invited and served as guest editor and editorial board members of some SCI and Chinese Core journals.
