RESEARCH INTERESTS:

Solid-state Inorganic Materials:Be interested in the design, synthesis, characterization and development of new functional inorganic materials. Functionalities include second-order nonlinear optical behavior, i.e. second-harmonic generation, piezoelectricity, ferroelectricity, pyroelectricity, and multi-ferroic behavior. Seek to obtain deeper understanding of synthesis/structure relationships and structure/function relationships. Also focus on large single crystal growth with potential applications in laser fields, especially in deep ultraviolet and far infrared region.
