  1994年6月四川大学博士研究生毕业,获博士学位。长期以来, 一直在高校从事教学与科研工作。 1999 年受DAAD资助在德国 Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research 作访问教授, 2002 年受英国皇家学会资助在英国 The University of Nottingham 作访问教授。 1995 年在四川大学晋升教授,1997 年获得博士生导师资格, 2015年当选中国工程院院士。创建环保型高分子材料国家地方联合工程实验室、环境友好高分子材料教育部工程研究中心和降解与阻燃高分子材料省高校重点实验室及相应的四川省国际合作基地,并任主任。中国兵工学会阻燃专业委员会荣誉主任委员、中国塑协降解塑料专委会副会长、全国生物基材料及降解制品标准化技术委员会副主任委员、国家科技奖励评审专家、公安部科技奖励评审专家、教育部科技委学部委员等,担任Polymer Degradation and Stability、Journal of Applied Polymer Science等12个中英文期刊编委、CCL副主编。荣获"全国优秀科技工作者"称号,入选 " 新世纪百千万人才工程 " 国家级人选、国家杰出青年科学基金获得者、教育部 " 长江学者奖励计划 " 特聘教授、教育部创新团队带头人、入选"教育部跨世纪优秀人才"计划,四川省学术与技术带头人。获得何梁何利科技进步奖、四川省最高科技奖“科技杰出贡献奖”、中国工程院光华工程科技奖青年奖(第五届)、四川省杰出青年科技创新奖、四川省优秀研究生指导教师称号、宝钢教育奖优秀教师奖、四川大学首届"最受学生欢迎教师奖"、四川大学2015年度(首届)产学研合作年度杰出贡献奖一等奖。

主要工作业绩

  主持过国家 863 、国家重点科技攻关 / 支撑计划项目、国际科技合作重点项目、国家重点技术创新项目,国家杰出青年科学基金、国家自然科学基金重点项目、重大国际合作项目等国家级和部省级计划项目40余项,并承担完成了大量的国内外企业委托的重要项目。致力于解决量大面广的通用有机高分子材料固有的易燃性和难降解两大缺陷分别造成的“火灾”和“白色污染”两大备受社会关注问题的研究,创建了国家级的工程实验室和教育部工程研究中心及四川省高校重点实验室,在环境友好的无卤阻燃材料和生物降解高分子材料领域取得了系统的理论和应用成果,突破相关领域中多项关键技术,开发出一系列具有自主知识产权的新产品,为行业科技进步做出了贡献。已发表SCI论文480余篇,SCI引用1万余次,邀请英文专著章节和综述12篇章,出版专著/教材/手册 6部,27篇论文成为季/年度TOP热点/多引论文,2项基础研究成果入编《国家自然科学基金资助项目优秀成果选编》;已获授权发明专利110余项,专利实施应用创造了显著经济效益;获11项国家和省部级科技成果奖,其中作为第一完成人,获2项国家级二等奖、5项教育部和四川省一等奖;作为会议主席举办过国际性和全国性学术会议,多次应邀在境外国际学术会议做Plenary和Keynote邀请报告。指导过数十名硕士和博士研究生,先后主讲过多门研究生和本科生课程。作为课程负责人的《高分子科学导论》化学类本科生基础课被评为省级精品课;获得过省级教学成果一等奖,指导的参与科研训练的本科生有多名在全国性竞赛(如“挑战杯”)上获奖,获四川大学首届“最受学生欢迎教师奖”。
